Description Vincent Sweeney 2003-06-19 03:39:00 UTC
The following mail (http://www.sircd.org/sa-msg.buggy.gz) when scanned by
spamassassin using the latest CVS version causes the process to never end and
the memory foot-print constantly grows in size until it has used all the memory
on the system.

This is happening with a small number of mails on our server and the only common
cause I can find is that they all contain attachements.

This mail is 3.1MB in size. As mentioned in the docs and numerous times on the sa-talk mailing
list, you shouldn't scan mails of that size.

	sassin.

Actually it is not mentioned anywhere in the doc's or in the website FAQ
anywhere I can find.

Anyway, I've added a condition to my exiscan / exim to only check mails
under a few hundred K in size so hopefully I do not see this issue anymore.
