Changing the 2 values, "bayes_expiry_min_db_size" and/or 
"bayes_expiry_scan_count" in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf appears to have no 
effect.  Expiration still occurs at 5000 and the DB does not increase in size.

those two options no longer exist in 2.60, which will be the next release of SA.  so closing this bug 
as wontfix (although I haven't confirmed that it occurs).
