Description Jesus Climent 2003-08-10 12:28:16 UTC
Package: spamassassin
Version: 2.55-3
Severity: Wishlist

It'd be *really* nice if spamd could listen on a unix socket instead of
only being able to listen on a TCP port. This would allow users to run
their own spamd's without having to worry about other people gaining
access to the spamd or chewing up lots of TCP ports (one for each user)
on the server. I don't think it'd be hard to add support for it
either...

        Thanks,

                Stephen

Hmmm... Jesus, did you really file this bug? Why are some of the Bugzilla
"headers" inside the "body"? Theo, something buggy here in Bugzilla land?

Whatever, 2.60 will support exactly this feature.

those headers are from the debian bug... sorry for that. Closing the debian one.

Thanks!
