Description Brian Slesinsky 2003-08-22 18:14:13 UTC
It's difficult to figure out what the Bayes engine is up to. A bayes rule fires
for most of my email (I even turned on the rules near 50% so I could see them)
but sometimes there is no bayes rule, and I don't know why. Perhaps you could
add an option to add a header to every email indicating the Bayes score or why
the message was not scored.

(I'm using SpamAssassin as preinstalled on pair.com.)

The middle BAYES rules now have scores (-0.001 or 0.001) so they always
show up in reports (once bayes is active), so this should be a lot clearer
in 2.60.

Can this be closed?

Actually, this can definitely be closed.

If you want more feedback, just use the _BAYES_ header symbol in 2.60
(this is only in 2.60 and later). Put this line in your user_prefs:

add_header all Bayes _BAYES_
