Description Ben Rosengart 2004-05-13 16:35:26 UTC
We caught spamd running away and eating all the CPU it could get for hours.
I did not get a chance to see whether it was making system calls or not.
I don't know how to reproduce the problem, either. Is this a known problem?
Sorry for the lousy bug report, management made me do it.

Sorry, as you said, lousy bug report. ;)

There was an issue fixed by 2.64 which could potentially cause the problem
you're describing. I would try upgrading to 2.64 or waiting for 3.0 to come
out, and see if the issue is reproducable then.
