SA Bugzilla – Bug 3619
Any idea why these manage to get through?
Last modified: 2004-07-18 13:14:55 UTC
I teach several mortgage spams to the bayesian filter every day, but they keep coming through. Even with words like mortgage, credit and $300,000 spelled normally, which should be giving lots of points. Here's an example of one that comes through: Return-Path: <k.camp_io@temtrade.ch> Received: from kiruna.se ([210.206.58.67]) by mail.noviter.com (8.12.8/8.12.8) with SMTP id i6FDfYdu017694 for <esa@noviter.com>; Thu, 15 Jul 2004 16:41:42 +0300 Received: from 17.165.21.199 by smtp.temtrade.ch; Thu, 15 Jul 2004 13:48:05 +0000 Message-ID: <a18001c46a72$a869137e$d3cbeb77@kiruna.se> From: "Kate Camp" <k.camp_io@temtrade.ch> To: esa@noviter.com Subject: $37258 Date: Thu, 15 Jul 2004 20:47:49 +0700 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.63 (2004-01-11) on mail.noviter.com X-Spam-Level: ** X-Spam-Status: No, hits=2.3 required=5.0 tests=BAD_CREDIT,BAYES_50, SUBJ_DOLLARS autolearn=no version=2.63 Status: O Hi, I sent you an email a few days ago, because you now qualify for a new mortgage. You could get $300,000 for as little as $700 a month! Bad credit is no problem, you can pull cash out or refinance. Thanks for the bug, but we don't really need more spam. :-) http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/DoYouWantMySpam If you have a specific bug to report, of course, please do, but it's not at all hard for us to find some missed spam out of the millions that we can review.
