Description Vicki Brown 2005-03-20 18:49:04 UTC
I'd like options to spamc/spamd to ask it to tell me the date/time it ran (I
can't always believe the dates in the email) and also the date of the config
file (so I know the last time it believes it read in a new config file.)

Vicki, since the date/time of the most recent Received header should be pretty
darn close to when spamc/spamd ran, and come from the same system clock that
spamc/spamd would use, how would the requested spamc/spamd date/time be any more
reliable?

And what config file(s) are you looking for, and which date? local.cf,
init.pre, 70_sare_*.cf, etc? Or would you want the start time of spamc/spamd,
being the date/time that these file(s) were read into memory?

Finally, where would this information display? An optional entry in the report
found in the email's headers? In syslog?

Triage: Closing as invalid only because of no response to my questions. May be
reopened if appropriate.
