Description a16x 2007-03-23 07:30:43 UTC
Why is SA sometimes unable to score e-mails?
(even timeout is set to 30 seconds)
We are using Qmail-Scanner, and we got >1000 messages per day like these below:

Fri, 23 Mar 2007 11:32:30 CET:24077/24011: SA: finished scan in 4.254294 secs -
hits=?/?

Does anybody have the some error?

I run SA with the following options (in the /etc/init.d/spamassassin file):

spamd -v vpopmail -d -x -u qscand -m 10

Your best bet for asking questions about qmail-scanner is a qmail-scanner list.
 If you think there's a problem with your SpamAssassin installation, please ask
questions on the users@ list.

Bugzilla is not the appropriate venue.

Thanks.

The bug is not is the Qmail-Scanner.
SA gives these error messages!

SA is unable to filter e-mails, it return with a score, like "?/?"
Comment 3 Justin Mason 2007-03-26 02:28:45 UTC
"?/?" is a qmail-scanner output format. SA does not use that format anywhere.
