A new practice for bypassing SA content scanning is to put the text into an attachment using the APPLICATION/OCTET-STREAM MIME type. If the filename is  _mumble_.txt or _mumble_.html? SA should still try to scan the attachment.

Are they _displayed_ by any MUAs?  that's the question ;)

if a part is not displayed, there isn't any point in us scanning it.

I think I disagree with that yardstick when in most MUAs it's only a double-click to view the payload, and in most cases the only automatically visible (and scoreable) content is "please read the attachment".
