SA Bugzilla – Bug 7752
PHP_ORIG_SCRIPT - Sent by bot & other signs - HOW TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE ?
Last modified: 2019-09-18 20:21:24 UTC
We used auth-results@verifier.port25.com email (that uses SpamAssassin v3.4.0) to proceed the following checkings. The tests often fail (not always) due to the Following error : 2.4 PHP_ORIG_SCRIPT Sent by bot & other signs The problem is that I didn't find any explanation on this error so we don't know what to do to solve it. For your information, this is a blocking issue for us since emails of our domain (@astyrian.fr) are considered as spam by @gmail.com addresses (and it sounds this is due to spamAssassin filtering). Note that we do not do spam and we do not practise large emailings nor send emails to prospect we don't already know. So there is no Reason for us to be considered as spammers. PS : Note that we recently add CAPTCHA to our forms (in our website) to avoid missuses of our forms. In the past, there has been people (or bots) that used our forms to send inapropriate messages (and potentielly to inapropriate email boxes). This is perhaps the Reason of the issue. But if so, can you tell us how to solve the issue ? Best regards. Stéphane FAURE
For problems with specific rules it is preferable to bring it up on the Spamassassin Users mailing list first. If it turns out to be a bug in the code, then a bugzilla bug will be opened.
