Description Edward Rudd 2010-07-06 13:53:48 UTC
in the documentation in several places a Makefile is mentioned, that is not included in the source code any longer (it was at least on the old mod_ssl for Apache httpd 1.3).

Examples:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_ssl.html#sslcacertificatepath

and

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/ssl/ssl_faq.html#hashsymlinks
.

The makefile mentioned does not exist in the source, I found an "older" makefile included in the mod_ssl-2.8.31-1.3.41 release on http://www.modssl.org/. This makefile is located in the pkg.sslcfg folder and named "Makefile.crt", there is also a "Makefile.crl" that does the same for CRLs.

References to this Makefile removed in trunk, 2.2, and 2.4.
