Your own output shows you are picking up version 1.6.5 of Ant from the system somewhere, not 1.7 or even 1.8. This has nothing to do with Ant itself IMHO, and is an installation issue, not a big. Feel free to re-open, although I advice you to search the user mailing list for similar issues (it's a common theme with Linux distros), and/or ask a question there. I downloaded the latest version of ant from the website which is ant 1.8.1 I removed the previouly installed version from the system. When I ran the command ./ant -version it is still showing that 1.6.5. I was in the directory of newly extracted ant version when I ran the command Philip Tham Just because you're still having trouble does not mean you have discovered a bug and should therefore reopen this item. You should present your situation on Ant's user list user@ant.apache.org and respectfully ask for help with your problem. |
