Description Sebb 2020-05-29 16:06:46 UTC
The Date: header in emails is often unreliable as an indicator of when the message was received by a mailing list.

If the message was moderated, the date could be several days earlier than the appearance on the list. Also early emails may have wildly inaccurate dates.

It would be useful to be able to use a more accurate date.
For example, the Received: headers or the From_ line.
