Description Mike Holtz 2003-03-12 21:58:29 UTC
In one spread sheet I have two vba modules. Running the simple command:
java org.apache.poi.poifs.filesystem.POIFSFileSystem file1.xls file2.xls

file2.xls is created without seeing any error messages, but when I open it
and try to view the vba modules I see a "File Not Found" error. Also when I go
into the vba editor I can see the conents of one module, but when I click on
the seconde I see the "File Not Found" error again.

I've tried this with the following .jar files:
jakarta-poi-1.10.0-dev-20030222.jar
jakarta-poi-1.11.0-dev-20030306.jar
jakarta-poi-1.8.0-dev-20020919.jar

I created the attached "file2.xls" using jakarta-poi-1.10.0-dev-20030222.jar.

You can't do that on television. In short, while POIFS may correctly rewrite
the file, HSSF isn't being called to do its part. Thus the macro stuff is
probably being mangled. You should use org.apache.poi.hssf.dev.HSSF source
target and if that still fails reopen.
