Description Ganszky Balázs 2003-11-12 14:18:25 UTC
When I read a string value from the cell and it contains one or national
character like á,é,í,ó it can not be encoded. (value :65533) but if the cell
contains minimum ő or ű or Ő or Ű (and á,é,í,ó etc)the whole thing works fine.
It is a debian linux and i try to load values in to a postgres. jdk 1.4.1

The other interesting thing is that the whole code works fine on windows (no
matter which charakter is where, no charakterdependency...)

Can you provide some more details on what exactly you are trying to do, and what
fails? What do you mean by "can not be encoded"?

It would greatly help in debugging if you can provide the erroneous excel sheet
and a simplified test case.

Pretty sure that this will work now. Closing.
