Description Felix Pahl 2004-02-10 07:23:17 UTC
In Section 11.7.1, the spec says that alpha compositing is to be performed
in the color space specified by the color-interpolation property.
In the following example, changing the color-interpolation property
makes no visible difference; the result in Squiggle is always what
the Adobe Viewer displays when color-interpolation="sRGB".

<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<svg width="600" height="600"
<rect x="100" y="100" width="400" height="400" fill="#f00" />
<rect x="200" y="200" width="200" height="200" fill="#0f0" opacity=".5"/>

This is a known deficency in Batik.
Note that this property may be depricated in SVG 1.2
in favor of the 'rendering-color-space' property (which
makes way more sense from a color space perspective).

See bug: 27248
This has a patch to enable rendering-color-space in Batik.
