Description gbadine 2004-09-20 18:18:36 UTC
Upgraded to Apache 2.0.51 from 2.0.50 a few days ago. After the upgrade it
appeared that not all of the password protected areas took hold. I restarted
the Apache service and all was dandy. Everything seemed fine for a couple
days but when I came in this morning not all folders were being protected as
they should. I restarted the service and that seemed to fix it. I went to a
meeting and when I came back an hour later folders were once again unprotected.

Just came back from lunch (about an hour after last service restart) and
directories were not protected.

There is a regression in 2.0.51 in Satisfy merging, please try this patch:

http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/httpd-2.0/server/core.c?r1=1.285&r2=1.286

Thanks Joe.

Are there plans to reflect this fix the binary for 2.0.51 or 2.0.52?
