Description Krzysztof Czerw 2005-01-25 21:00:56 UTC
When server start dosn't mather what we set for atribut jvmRoute server not
read this value, and StandardEngine hasn't set field jvmRoute.
This way we can't setup configuration for clastering tomcat with sticky session.
The main reason for this is not readed atribute from file server.xml from
section <Engine....
J find out this becouse atribute JSESSIONID is not set for number.{jvmRoute}
Beafore changes in class StandardEngine, which can read this atribute sticky
session with mod_jk and mod_jk2 works well with this version of tomcat

This looks like a configuration problem. Bugzilla is for reporting bugs. It is
not a support forum. You will get a much better response if you post your
question to the tomcat-user mailing list.

From my opinion this is a BUG because of this unread atribut jvmroute tomcat
cannot work with claster. This's not a configuraton problem. Tutorial say that
we can from this way configure this, but it's not working properly. This is
required for working tomcat with mod_jk or mod_jk2.

I was reading old publication about jvmRoute and I was finding that bad working
session name managment was because of default configuration where probably was
jmvRoute. When I get current version of tomcat 4.1.31 jvmRoute works well. I'm
sorry about unnessesery report. Thanks a lot.
