Error-messages from cgi-scripts are logged into the ErrorLog of the main server
instead in the ErrorLog of the virtual host. Logging of HTTP-Errors (i.e. 404)
_does_ get into the right place.

You are using mod_cgid, correct?

Yupp.
I also tried out the ScriptLog directive, but then no script worked at all.
