<html:file> which could be used to browse a file from a html page has got some 
limitations, that i want to report now.The problem is that when the jsp page is 
rendered,this tag is not retaining the value or otherwise the value is not 
displayed inspite the value is being set from the formbean associated with the 
page.I am not sure whether this is a limitation of the browser or the tag needs 
some modifications.Please advise me on this regards.

Is this part of the Input taglib as you have marked? It seems the appropriate 
forum for this question would be the Struts user mailing list [
