Description Lars Nooden 2005-10-20 18:10:42 UTC
Apache could be configured to identify OpenDocument files and flag them with their own icon like it
does with TeX, compressed files and a few others. This means a small GIF and/or PNG plus a change to
the http.config

e.g. something like this (or whatever is more appropriate) :

AddIcon /icons/opendocumentfile.gif .odt .ods .odp .odg .odc \
     .odf .odb .odi .odm
AddIcon /icons/opendocumenttemplate.gif .ott .ots .otp .otg \
     .otc .otf .oti

The full list of file extensions and mime types can be found in "Appendix C.MIME Types and File Name
Extensions (Non Normative)" of the OpenDocument specification at URL:

This is more a feature request for the httpd.config file, plus a tiny icon. However, it would be nice to
have since most productivity suites support or plan in the near future to support the format

Here are some possible icons in 20x22. If you might want to use these mail me
and I will submit a CLA.

CLA should now be on file.
