Description Tarun Patel 2013-01-17 13:23:16 UTC
I have one application ,it developed by using the "Websocket", So I do not be able to record some scenarios where "Websocket" is used.

Any help.

As of JMeter 2.8 and upcoming 2.9, Websocket is not supported.
I requalify as Enhancement.

when can we expect websocket sampler?
Comment 3 Ricardo Longa 2013-11-01 11:41:56 UTC
My app initiates a connection with websocket server in login page. I can not record the login. I think it's for lack of support protocol websocket.

There is now a third party websocket protocol plugin:

Comment 5 Philippe Mouawad 2017-11-04 11:13:58 UTC
As of November 2017, the best Websocket Sampler for Apache JMeter is this 3rd party plugin:

Maybe author would at some step like to donate it to core project.
In the meantime I don't think we will invest time on this as we have a lot of work and are resource constrained for now.
