Description Kalyan 2016-12-14 20:01:32 UTC
Microsoft excel automatically adds phonetic signs to strings with japanese and other east asian language characters. For example the shared strings table will contain

<si>
    <t>都道府県</t>
    <rPh sb="0" eb="4">
        <t>トドウフケン</t>
    </rPh>
    <phoneticPr fontId="1"/>
</si>

When using ReadOnlySharedStringsTable.getEntryAt() method, the string value returned is 都道府県トドウフケン . The phonetic guide is appended to the actual cell value, which is not correct behavior. Instead only the cell value should be returned.

SharedStringsTable behavior is infact correct. Using SharedStringsTable.getEntryAt().getT() just returns 都道府県.
