Description deepanshu.bansal 2019-07-08 11:03:46 UTC
We have a use case, where we are polling apache2 continuously. As a result, a huge amount of access logs are getting generated in apache2 and in apache tomcat, around 1GB per day. So it consumes a lot of memory due to a long running process.

We don't want to use dontlog directive as it completely stops the logging from that ip.

So please suggest a way to control the size of apache2 and apache tomcat access log files.

rotatelogs can limit the size of each log file.
