Description WJCarpenter 2019-08-31 18:28:02 UTC
On https://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/rewrite/advanced.html, in the first example, "URL-based sharding across multiple backends", there is an example of an external map file. The last line is simply 2 colon characters separated by a space. I'm not sure if it's some kind of typo or if it has some particular meaning. A brief explanation of the role of that line would help.

These ":" are just continuation marks which represent the next lines of the file.

Not sure what the best solution would be.

etc.

In the XML file (from which the html file is generated), the ':' are aligned with the first letter of each column. Maybe it is a bit more understandable this way.
However, when displayed as HTML, the extra spaces are grouped.
