When using the BPEL Mapper to create an assign the inbound and outbound
variables, either side of the assign, are highlighted. If I select an
alternative variable to map values too there is no easy way to identify which
visual component it is associated with. 

Can we enhance the BPEL UI to highlight the Visual Component attached to a
variable, if one exists, that is if I decide to map value to a variable that is
not highlighted in bold, say the reply from the beginning of the process, then
this is highlighted in some way (green / blue)
