right click in CSS text editor and select Create Rule from popup menu
try to create a:link rule

a:link is in the list of classes, but to create a class some suffix after "." is
needed, It's right that a:link is called "pseudo-class" in specification, but
because of it's between classes it's not possible to create new rule containg
just a:link, a:visited, but you must create a:link.something

the create rule dialog is likely to be removed as we now have its newer version available in the CSS Styles window.
