Passing to the property editors (components?). Accept that we have this bug in the product. The property editors should correctly find the URL mapping for faces servlet as specified in the web.xml and accordingly generate the code. Unfortunately, for NB 6.0, we don't have any API to interact with web.xml to find the url-mapping for faces servlet. It would be nice to fix this for next release. The work around for now is to use the prefix based url-pattern in the web.xml or manually modify the generated code to make it suitable for suffix based url-pattern. Well using Prefix mapping is not really a workaround since most clients do not want a prefix in their site's URLs. I never understood why extension mapping is not the default. This requires a pretty big change. Not for dot release |
