Netbeans can create project with existing source, but I think that this function was badly designed from user usability point of view. Most frequent use case is, that user download some non-Netbeans project to folder "Project" (from SVN for example) and can create project from this folder. But this folder contain src folder and Netbeans can create project on existing src folder. What now? I tried rename downloaded folder to Project2 and now created new "Project with existing folder" with "Project" name and select src folder from Project2. But now I have two folder, "Project" uses src folder from "Project2" :-( Is this what users want? The only way is to create normal project "Project" and move src folder manually from Project2. But its necessary copy also cvs or .svn folders.
