Description ulfzibis 2009-07-15 09:24:28 UTC
[ BUILD # : 6.7 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.* ]

After some time it is difficult to know, which options/settings have
been changed in the IDE.
In case of project properties, it's quite easy to find those (in
project.properties, even if there is no GUI for display), but not for
IDE settings.
So for not to forget a setting, I have the habit to import _all_
settings each time I install a new (dev)build.
Often those setting where made to workaround an issue e.g. Issue
165742,
so the big question then is, how to reset those settings to default
values, without loosing all other options.

IMO the "Select Options for Ex/Import" dialogue should be a good
place to display those deviations from defaults in detail.

Being pedantic, we could say, this is a REGRESSION against the very old config tool of former releases.
I think, we should have this available as option, even today.
