Our IDE seem to know nothing about our lint program!

The help system gives the folowing explanation:

<<lint is the interface to the BSD Compatibility Package C program verifier. It is a script that looks for the link /usr/ccs/bin/ucblint to the C program verifier. 
lint is available under the SolarisTM Operating System (Solaris OS) on SPARC® based systems and the Solaris OS on x86 based systems.>>

I could not find any other mentions of lint.
