Description David-john Burrowes 2002-02-22 08:42:27 UTC
When an object has an associated contextual menu, and the object also responds to a double click, then:
- the action performed by the double click should be listed in the contextual menu.
- the action should be drawn in bold
- the action should be listed first in the menu unless this would force an "unnatural" arrangement of the menu items (e.g. if the double-click action was
"copy", it would be bad to move "Copy" to the top of the list and leave "cut" and "paste" further down in the list.). it also should not cause the menu to
rearrange itself if the double-click action changes based on context.
