Description ecerichter 2012-12-16 21:23:07 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201212140001)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_09
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 23.5-b02

I've created a new toolbar called Zoom.
After, I've added buttons "Zoom customize", "Zoom in" and "Zoom out".
When working with editors, these buttons have no effect (they are not affecting current editor, as expected).
Clicking with middle button (windows) and scrooling forward and backward changes de zoom level.
Currently, there is no indicator of the current zoom level, neither a button to reset zoom level to 100% again.
Zoom menu is not available in "View -> Zoom..." or something like that.

Regards,

Edson

Changing to DEV.
Still same problem in DEV 201302272300.

The "Version" field should contain the earliest version to which the report applies - please don't change it unless there is a reason to believe it applies to an earlier release, or does not apply to the specified one. Thanks.

@ecerichter: The "Zoom" actions from the main toolbar that you refer to are for zooming on graphical images. They have no effect on on editor windows that contain text. Thus as far as I can tell the IDE works as intended in that respect although I must admit I also made the same assumption as you did.

What you are after is "Text zoom" which is an entirely different matter. This was introduced in v7.1 and is as far as I know not exposed anywhere expect via keyboard and mouse. I've created an RFE for that (#242727).
