It would be nice to alter the cursor when the
mouse is over the glyph gutter, so that new users
are more likely to discover that clicking can do
things.  A tooltip "Click to create a nnn,
Shift-click to create a zzz" could be included as
well.

Hmm, actually just setting the hand cursor would do the trick.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
