set up this settings:
Tools->Options->Miscellaneou->Windows->Look and feel: Dark Metal
Tools->Options->Fonts&Colors->Profile: City Lights

Look at atached file img_01.png, it's difficult to read some things:

1. at line 21: "HashMap"
2. at line 31: "=new HashMap()"

Look at atached file img_02.png, it's too difficult to read selected file, espetially:

1. keywords like: package, import, public, class, int, new, ...
2. keywords like: HashMap(), method header, ...

Dark themes were moved to the NetBeans Update Center for NB 7.4

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
