Created attachment 140104 [details] Shows the issue * switch to Dark Metal LAF * create a Java project, add a JPanel and open the GUI builder * in the navigator right click on the JPanel and choose "Preview Design->Dark Nimbus" -> JPanel opens with Dark Nimbus * close the JPanel window * select an entry in the IDE navigator or in the project view -> ACTUAL: default font-color in the IDE changes to black (in the screenshot see the property view and the project view EXPECTED: default font-color isn't changed Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.4 RC1 (Build 201309112301) Java: 1.7.0_40; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.0-b56 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.7.0_40-b43 System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
