The second 7.4beta report
is more about

   org.openide.awt.MenuBar$LazyMenu$MenuFolder.createInstance(): 3725 / 0
        org.openide.awt.DynaMenuModel.loadSubmenu(): 3725 / 0

many UI components are created in one AWTRun "pulse". Each of them having at least one access to a resource (name, image). Splitting that initialization to multiple "pulses" would improve the responsiveness.

Only report from 8.0 is cause by slowness in org.netbeans.modules.form.GandalfPersistenceManager.loadComponent -> reassigning to the guibuilder for evaluation.
