Related to bug 239698.
I have run into this in ODCS Tasks, but seems to apply to Bugzilla too (at least).

When opening a custom query via Edit or clicking Modify Query on query results, the editor for the query only has "Cancel Changes" button. I've modified the query and wanted to see what the results would be. Just seeing the Cancel Changes button was not very helpful. After a while I realized that it can only be done by "saving" it via the standard IDE Save action (bug 239698). But I would actually like to see what the results would be before saving them. Just like when a new query is created (before saved). Could there be an additional "Search" button that would just run the query in the same window without saving (i.e. producing separate results bellow the query editor)?
