Description sallyx 2014-03-20 09:50:43 UTC
If I create project with different source folder (NetBeans metadata into a separate directory), while sources are on USB, and then I remove the USB, project shows that source folder is missing. Thats OK.

But if I reconnect the USB with source codes again, NetBeans still shows missing folder and it is *impossible* to choose the same diriectory.

If I create symlink to the source code directory and choose this symlink as source folder, then it works.

Where would you like to choose the same directory? In project properties?

If you close and reopen the project, does the source folder appear?

Reassigning to projects/Ant Project. Please evaluate. Thank you.

1. I create a project "PHP Application with existing sources"
2. I select the source on USB /media/..../public_html/www/
3. I select Put NetBeans metadata into a separate directory
4. Close project/Netbeans
5. Umount USB
6. OPen project/NetBeans
7. Dialog "Open Project" with "Resolve problems ..."
9. Dialog "Resolve PRoject PRoblems" with "invalid source Files"
10. Mount USB
11. Select directory on USB /media/..../public_html/www/
--> The directory "/media/.../public_html/www" does not exist and cannot be used for Source Files.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
