The recently redesigned UI for managing project groups is nice and all, but it came at the expense of one important UI consideration...

For me, and I'm sure for most, the act of switching between project groups is significantly more frequent than actually managing (create/modify/remove) those groups.

Before, to switch groups, it was a quick mouseover for the flyout menu and click on the group name.

Now it requires clicking the menu item, getting a new dialog, and double-clicking on the group name (or worse yet, using the select button).

Maybe the new "Project Groups..." menu item should have been located in the flyout menu, replacing the 3 menu items that it deals with (new/properties/remove).

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,

I tried a dev build (20160707002) and nothing has changed from prior 8.x releases regarding this bit of the UI. Issue still relevant, thus reopened.
