Description Christian Lenz 2014-06-26 09:13:26 UTC
As I wanted to count files and lines of code from a HTML5 project, I found a plugin called Wordcount. It works with regex and I can add all files what I want and ignore files/folders. Its nice and quite good but I think this should be a common functionality or a common plugin which should be found inside the plugin manager. It was supported for 6.9 but it works for 8.0 as well. But what I have todo is select the project and click on count, this is not a problem, if I dock both windows, if not, I have to open the projects window, select a project, open the wordcount window and click on count. It's not working if I have select a file inside a project. Then I got a list of Lines of Code, Files, and much more info. What I prefer is an option on right click a project and analyse or show project information or whatever and than LOC, Files and so on. Or in the project window: MyProject (221) or so. And what I would like to see the count of open projects, I have a lot of open projects and it would be nice to see it in the header of the Project window: Projects (8). Regards Chris

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss

Still not implemented and a must have feature for me.
