This would be really helpful in code where bad coding practices have been used (AAAAAaaaahhhhh!!) and hints are obscuring all other markers in the sidebar (e.g. usage markers, changes markers, break points markers, etc.)  Being able to quickly and easily turn off/on the hints would help a lot.  Currently (I believe), the user has to export the current hints settings, and then uncheck all hints.  To turn them all back on again they then need to import the hints settings again.
