When using the "Show History" context menu selection for a branch, the search window will always pop up empty with the correct search filters applied but no results are shown automatically.

I've tested this with actual human subjects (were not hurt in the process) that it confuses them that they need to press the "Search" button once to get the actual result they want.

Automatically searching with the default filters would be more convenient and consistent with other Git related tools that show the history always automatically when you view it.
