Description otisjenkins 2016-10-14 09:31:57 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.1 (Build 201510222201)
Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.10.4 running on x86_64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_101
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.101-b13

STEPS:
  Highlight some text, select Replace, enter the search and replace terms, and then click Replace to replace only within the current selection.

	OR
  Select replace, enter the search and replace terms, highlight the selection to search within, then click Replace to replace only with the current selection.

ACTUAL:
  All possible combinations of the above actions that I've tried result in replacing all instances of the search term within the entire file. Since there is no "In Selection" check box (I believe Netbeans for Windows works by just selecting the search area as described above) there is no way to limit the replace action to a selection.

EXPECTED:
  Find and replace occurs only within selection if text is selected, and within the entire file if no text is selected.
