[ BUILD # : 200601012030 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.4.2_xx ]

Open multiple files. Open the Documents window. Highlight a file in the middle of the list. Click on the 'Close Document(s)' button. The document will close and the first file in the Documents window will be highlighted.

This is a usability pain. The previous or next file in the list (from the one closed) should be selected. I have quite a few files open and I'm going through the list in the Documents window to close several of them. I have to close a file, then scroll down to find my previous position, then start looking again where I left off. Yes, I can select multiple files and close them all, but this poses other problems (not the least of which is poor keyboard support for this).

Reassigning to core/winsys
Comment 2 David Simonek 2008-10-22 13:31:58 UTC
This is more a usability bug than enhancement, changing.
