IMHO adding an empty folder is meaningless in CVS. Why would you want to do that when update and checkout always prune empty folders? While prune should be enabled by default, adding and checking out empty folders is useful for: - Suggesting a template structure; - Allow two users to develop a new package simultaneously when no class has been commited yet. Please let me know if these use cases make sense to you. |
