[ BUILD # : 20051218 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.4.2_xx ]

There is no way to add an empty folder to a CVS repository.
Comment 1 Maros Sandor 2006-12-18 15:31:26 UTC
IMHO adding an empty folder is meaningless in CVS. Why would you want to do that
when update and checkout always prune empty folders?
Comment 2 misterm 2006-12-18 20:03:46 UTC
While prune should be enabled by default, adding and checking out empty folders
is useful for:

- Suggesting a template structure;
- Allow two users to develop a new package simultaneously when no class has been
commited yet.

Please let me know if these use cases make sense to you.
