Bug 74772

Summary: [ED-6] Application output is buried between build output messages
Product: projects Reporter: jrojcek <jrojcek>
Component: AntAssignee: Jesse Glick <jglick>
Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE
Severity: blocker
Priority: P3
Version: 6.x

OS: All

Issue Type: DEFECT Exception Reporter:

Description jrojcek 2006-04-11 09:03:26 UTC
Finding
2 participants would like to see application output ("Hello World!") separated from build messages. One
participant even searches for an option to switch the build messages off and finds "Verbosity" in old
options and switches to "Quite" which results in hiding even the application output.

Severity
2 participants didn't like the way the IDE treats application output

Recommendation
Design the output window in a way that the application output is separated from build messages.

Maybe rather core/output. But the mkleint is right anyway :-)
Comment 2 Milos Kleint 2007-07-12 10:14:57 UTC
is rather ant related than general project.
I've implemented it for maven projects and within the bluej edition. (see #56341)
