Using Shift-Left Arrow and Shift-Right Arrow keys to navigate throught the
Interface element compartment has 2 issues:
1. element name is skipped for highlighting when cycling thru the compartments
2. when element name is assumed to be selected but just not highlighting,
pressing Enter key to edit blanks out the whole element while the edit mode is
displayed in the center of the element
