It would be great to have an option to set type and size of font used in NetBeans menus and dialogs. Right now it is only possible to set font size by specifying a startup option or by editing the netbeans.conf file. But, it is impossible to change the type of font. It would be more convenient to hava such settings available in Options window.
Reassigning to "editor" for evaluation...
This is IMO not related to editor.
Hi, I agree with this request: I tried to lauch netbeans with the --laf com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKLookAndFeel option. Colors and font size are imported, but the font-familly of the netbeans ide (menus, toolbars) remains the same. This is frustrating as I found no workaround. At this point I must say I'm using kde, so I have some workaround installed to have gtk apps looks like qt aps. installed gtk-qt engines and installed a theme that works on both engines (qtcurve). All Gtk aps (firefox, thunderbird) are using my "system" fonts without problem Other Java aps(eclipse) I used are perfectly able to integrate my system fonts. But netbeans resists me
