Description mirza 2007-05-31 13:06:32 UTC
I am usinf JAX-WS 2.1 web services. When I want to create client code to access
web service (from client) it inserts something like: service = new;
jSoapPort = service.getFooServicePort();

Now, that works great (important to say), but connects to my localhost:8080 (as
that is machine I am using and have Tomcat running). I would like to connect to
other hosts running this service. So, generated code should be instead: service = new"localhost:8080");

This way I can change string for other host/port easily.

That's reasonable.
Anyway, there is a different constuctor :
public FooService(URL wsdlLocation, QName serviceName);
Comment 2 mirza 2007-06-25 12:23:32 UTC
Yes, I know about this constructor, but looks too complicated. Setting host alone would be better (3rd constructor) from
usability perspective. For example, I want to have combo-box with many hosts to choose from and then connect to that
specific host (for testing).
